Abstract
This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the competency of school principals and teachers in developing innovative school development modules as strategic guidelines for improving the quality of education. The training was conducted in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, Jambi Province, and involved 15 school principals and teachers from various educational levels. The activity used a participatory, hands-on approach, encompassing needs analysis, module development training, and mentoring and evaluation of results. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and pre- and post-test assessments, which were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed a 32% increase in participant understanding, from an average of 58% before the training to 90% after the training. Participants successfully produced a school development module that integrates the principles of innovation, collaboration, and digital technology. This activity also fostered a reflective and collaborative culture within the school environment, while strengthening the principals' ability to design development programs based on real needs. This program is recommended as a model for replication in other regions to strengthen school-based education management and innovation.
