Abstract

Teacher managerial skills play a crucial role in ensuring effective school management and improving the quality of Islamic education. In the context of Islamic schools, managerial competence not only includes technical aspects of classroom organization and school administration but also the ability to integrate Islamic values into every decision and action. However, many teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Ittihad Tanjung Jabung Timur still face challenges in managing school activities effectively, coordinating educational programs, and fostering a culture of discipline and collaboration. This Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted to enhance teachers’ managerial skills through a structured training and mentoring program. The program adopted a participatory approach, combining workshops, discussions, and reflective practices. The focus areas included (1) planning and organizing school programs, (2) communication and teamwork, and (3) implementation of Islamic-based management values such as amanah, istiqamah, and ukhuwah. The results indicated significant improvement in teachers’ understanding of management principles and their ability to apply them in daily school activities. This program provides a replicable model for professional development in Islamic schools, emphasizing managerial empowerment and character formation among teachers.
