Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia brings substantial changes to education, notably through the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile and comprehensive assessment mechanisms. This community service article discusses the design, implementation, and evaluation of a workshop project aimed at reinforcing the understanding and application of the Pancasila Student Profile as well as conducting assessments in line with the Independent Curriculum at SMP IT Mau’izatun Hasanah, located in Muaro Jambi Regency. Using a mixed-methods approach, both quantitative and qualitative data were collected from teachers participating in the workshop. The activities included lectures, discussions, simulations, and collaborative practice. Results show significant improvements in teachers’ conceptual understanding, ability to design authentic assessments, and confidence in applying project-based learning. The program serves as a model for other schools in rural areas implementing the Independent Curriculum, while promoting the core values of the Pancasila Student Profile and improving assessment quality.
